RETURN POLICY

PLEASE NOTE: The current COVID-19 pandemic with government-mandated workplace social distancing and limited capacity is affecting returns processing times with delays.

While we hope you love your Baby Phat purchase, we understand that you may need to return it. Baby Phat's online returns portal can only be used to return items from domestic orders purchased online at BabyPhat.com.

All returns will be refunded in the form of a store credit (a.k.a. E-Gift Card code).

Unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unaltered merchandise will be eligible for return within 21 days of the date your order was shipped. Items must be free of stains, makeup, deodorant, and any signs of wear. All returned items must have original tags attached and include all original packaging. Swimwear, bodysuits, and undergarments are non-returnable. Eligible BabyPhat.com order returns will be credited back as store credit (E-Gift Card code) for use on BabyPhat.com.

Please note: your original shipping cost will not be refunded.

All final sale products are Final Sale and cannot be returned.

Please note: we are unable to offer automatic exchanges at this time. Due to high demand for Baby Phat products, we cannot hold any stock. If you need to exchange an item for the same article in a different size or color (that is in stock on BabyPhat.com), we suggest that you place an order for the new item and return the original item for store credit (E-Gift Card code).

For exchanges, please use our online Returns Portal to return the original item and contact us at orders@babyphat.com with the word EXCHANGE in the subject line. Please include your Full Name, Order Number, and a short note with the reason for exchange in the message to receive a shipping credit in the form of online store credit. Please allow 2-10 business days for verification and shipping credit to be issued. Again, please note that shipping credit will only be granted if a customer has placed a new order for the same article in a different size or color only. No shipping credit will be granted if the customer returns the original item but orders a different article than what was returned.

Please allow 5-10 business days for the returned item to reach our warehouse and another 3-4 business days for return processing.

All returned items are inspected after being received at our warehouse. Baby Phat reserves the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with our Return Policy. If your return is refused, you will be notified by email.


Return instructions:

  • Click here for the Returns Portal
  • Fill in Order # and email address
  • Select items that you wish to return
  • Select Store Credit for the return
  • Review all selections and confirm your return
  • Return selections are final and cannot be reversed once confirmed


Refund will be in the form of BabyPhat.com store credit (E-Gift Card code). Return shipping is $10 for 48 contiguous states, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico. Return shipping cost will be deducted from store credit issued.

You will receive confirmation of the submission of your return along with a USPS (United States Postal Service) shipping label PDF to the email address registered with BabyPhat.com. Please print and attach the return label to a securely closed package (our black mailing bags are resealable!), make sure all original shipping labels are covered, and drop off package at any US Post Office.

Once the refund is processed, a notification will be sent to your email.

Your return must be completed and shipped within the Baby Phat return policy timeframe of 21 days from the date your order was shipped. Baby Phat is not liable for any return
packages that may become lost or stolen in-transit. Please keep your return tracking number when shipping back your returns.

Additionally, Baby Phat reserves the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or cancel orders from customers at any time due to 1.) An irregular or excessive returns history indicative of “wardrobing”; 2.) An irregular or excessive returns history involving worn, washed, damaged, altered, stained, or missing items; and/or 3.) Potential fraudulent or criminal activity. Similarly, Baby Phat reserves the right to limit, refuse, and/or reject returns to any customer or entity, due to similar actions as noted above.
